Camden County residents choose from 39 Medicare Advantage plans for 2027. The premium is rarely the difference: 35 of them cost $0 a month. The out-of-pocket limit ($3,400 to $9,850), the hospital network and your drug list are what separate them.
Camden County is the Georgia county closest to our office, directly across the St. Marys River from Nassau County, and home to Naval Submarine Base Kings Bay. With a median age of 34.6 it is younger than any Florida county we serve.
For Camden residents who are near Medicare age, the practical question is often whether a plan’s network reaches Jacksonville doctors across the state line. Inside the county, Southeast Georgia Health System’s Camden Campus carries a 4-star CMS rating.

How does Medigap work in Camden County?
A Medicare Supplement (Medigap) policy pays some or all of what Original Medicare leaves you: the Part A deductible, Part B coinsurance and more, depending on the plan letter. It works at any doctor or hospital in the country that accepts Medicare, which is why people who travel or split the year between states often prefer it.
Ask the Georgia Office of Commissioner of Insurance whether Georgia gives you rights beyond the federal ones; Medicare.gov notes that states can add more chances to buy a policy.
We don’t publish Medigap prices: they depend on your age, the plan letter and the carrier, and no public rate file covers them. Compare real quotes side by side with our Medigap cost comparison calculator.

Under 65 in Camden County: Marketplace coverage
Georgia runs its own Marketplace, Georgia Access, so Georgia households enroll at georgiaaccess.gov or through a certified agent or web broker, not on HealthCare.gov. Premium tax credits work the same way: they are based on your income against the federal poverty line and stop above 400% of it.
Georgia Access had not posted its 2027 open enrollment dates when we last checked; confirm them at georgiaaccess.gov. You can still estimate your tax credit with the ACA premium tax credit calculator using the benchmark premium Georgia Access shows you.
